This lab will include didactic instruction and practical hands-on experience with the opportunity to learn how to do a comprehensive pelvic assessment, how to identify pelvic floor muscle dysfunction, and the various treatment options available. You will gain the skills to assess and treat common diagnosis such as public organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, vulvodynia, and pelvic floor muscle overactivity dysfunction. You will also learn the principles of biofeedback, neuromodulation, and other treatments. at the end of this slab you will be able to perform a comprehensive public assessment, identify public floor dysfunction, and apply appropriate treatments. you will also have the confidence to assess and treat the public health population.
Lab covers external/internal vaginal and rectal assessment and treatment approaches.
