This is an introductory pelvic health course geared for physical and occupational therapists that are wanting to take the next step and begin treating pelvic floor diagnoses. This is a self paced course that can be completed independently.
This course discusses urinary, bowel, and sexual dysfunction and fully explains common diagnoses including: stress, urge, and mixed incontinence, fecal incontinence, constipation, vulvodynia, vestibulodynia, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, vaginismus, pelvic floor muscle overactivity, interstitial cystitis, endometriosis and more.

Treatment approaches are organized for each diagnosis and there is discussion on medical management, as well. You will receive marketing approaches to bring together a multidisciplinary team.
At the end of this course, you will feel confident in assessment and treatment of simple pelvic health diagnoses.
